Posted by   + Show Post
We always buy real trees for.christmas but I've been looking at these fake ones and they're looking better and more real.

I've been using a fake one for years.  Just don't get the prelit kind.  Seriously, those bulbs don't last forever and it'll cost you more to replace the whole tree vs a strand of lights.

This is us, but I was surprised how nice they look.

i like the smell of real ones

Me too. I grew up with a real tree every year. I couldn't imagine doing it any other way.

Some of them do look nice! But I'd miss the smell.

I like getting a real  tree because we have the tradition of going to the same tree farm and my hubby cutting it down.

We have a fake one...the mold spores on the real ones combined with my asthma made for some rough Christmases when I was a kid (it took until I got pneumonia one year before we figured out why I'd always have issues around Christmas time when I wasn't sick the rest of the year). I miss the smell of a real tree, but I like not having to water a tree everyday! Plus, they're way more cost effective!

We had a few real trees when I was growing up. My mom was allergic so we mainly had fake. I have fake because I don't want to deal with the mess of dropped needles.

We have a fake one right now and I would love to get a real one. There are benefits to both

I haven't had a real tree since I was a kid. To me it feels wrong to take a tree that was probably home to animals and birds and use it to decorate mine.
