Do you peel a banana from the stem or the bottom?

I do it both ways.  From the bottom end does seem to work better though.

I can't stand them by themselves. The smell, texture of flavor are just yucky to me. I like them in things such as banana bread. My children like them, si when I peel them for the kids, I start at the bottom. I used to peel from the stem part and always had a hard time doing it, then I read somewhere that monkeys start from the bottom. It was easier. I decided to give it a try. It was easier and I have beed doing it  that way ever since. I just pinch them on the bottom and they open up.

Easy pinch it and it will open then peel away
