Yeah we were under the covers, thankfully - we're almost never under the covers! I felt something brush my foot but didn't think anything of it, and then a 3yo climbs on the bed right next to us and asks if he can sleep next to me! He had no idea what was going on, or at least he didn't let on. I told him I will cuddle him in just a minute but I needed to go potty so he should go back to his room and wait for me.
