So frustrating!

The Flexible Spending Account people denied a claim because they said my liability for the service was $0 but that I paid the provider $130.01. Insurance said they did not pay anything, I had them send an Explanation Of Benefits anyway showing they did not pay anything. I sent an itemized receipt from the provider saying how much I paid with FSA card ($130.01) and how much ins paid ($0). FSA says the documentation shows insurance paid the whole balance. FSA wants a check for $130.01.

That's so frustrating. Did the FSA receive the receipts you sent? Hopefully it will just take some time to process and it will work out.

They did receive them, that's the "documentation" they were using to deny it, even though on both the itemized receipt from the provider AND the EOB from insurance it says "insurance contribution: $0"
