Are u making anything non traditional for Thanksgiving?

 Nope, we are going traditional for Thanksgiving and non traditional for Christmas.

We're not fond of turkey, so it's a pork roast instead. Veggie couscous, maple-roasted root vegetables, haricot verts, arugula salad, bacon-wrapped dates, fruit tart (though store bought). These are the special occasion dishes I make that my sisters like and they ask for them. And I'm more than happy to oblige.

The whole thing sounds amazing and artful too!  Do you just wrap the dates and bake them?
