Specially if you're a grandma, I'm doing a beauty basket for mil and sil, but there's also great grandma and mil's sister, so I was thinking of baking and decorating cookies with my 3 year old and putting them in a nice christmas-y container, for grandma , great grandma and Aunt from our son, is that not a nice gift? We're on a budget and have tons of bills to pay on Friday but I do want to take something for them.

It's hard to go wrong with baked goods as a gift! Plus, the time and effort in making them is a gift itself.

I made picture ornaments. Reasonably priced at Michaels and then printed wallet size pictures and cut to size in the ornaments.
Baked goods are great gifts, a lot of people appreciate the thought time and effort.
