Actually I say "Have a happy Yuletide season". With my British accent it sounds fabulous apparently and people just beam back at me. I celebrate Yule and the expression takes care of all the holidays so I love it.

I say Merry Christmas unless it's to one of my Jewish friends...then I say Happy Hanukkah and they tell me Merry Christmas, lol!

Depends who I'm talking to. If I don't know what they celebrate I say Happy Holidays otherwise its Merry Christmas.

 I say merry christmas especially if someone said it first, otherwise I might use happy holidays to not offend that person but not so far this year
