when my son got dressed this am the pants he put on, which i only got him a couple of months ago are just over his ankles.  so i had him try on all his pants, 3 other pairs were like that.  so after their dentist appointment this am we ran to the store to see if i could find him some pants.  the 4t's were a bit too short but the 5t's were way to big, length & width.  what am i to do?!  have him wear pants that are a bit too short or ones that are falling off him when he walks.  guess i'll be hitting up a few more stores today looking for pants for him.  he's 5 but definately on the little side.

Have you thought about switching from the toddler size to just the 4/5. It can make a big difference

I have this problem so, I buy the next size up with the waist elastic things with the buttons.  I'm sure there is a name for it, lol.

Adjustable waist. They work great.

Get the ones that are the right length and safety pin the backs, maybe

hubby suggested that but don't think that would be very practical for going to the bathroom at school.

i don't see many 4/5's in the boys section, least not at walmart, target, marshall's & ross.  haven't checked out kohl's yet.  i did get him two pairs of pants at target before christmas that are 5's but they only had 3 colors in that style & since i already got him two like that........
