Homemade or Store Bought 1/4

Today's Item: Spagehtti Sauce

 Both.  I use store bought if I am in a hurry, but I like homeade best.

Store bought. There are a lot of things that I make from scratch that I love and prefer over the store bought version, but spaghetti sauce is not one of them. I'm missing something when I try to make it, it never tastes right to me.

Prefer MY homemade but usually store bought but I'm very picky.

I add tomato paste to the store bought jarred sauce to thicken it.

homemade... we jar gravy every August... enough to last us for the year.

fresh tomatoes, salt, basil, thats it, we run it through the mill 3x.

we usually take about 100 jars just for us, and all in all we jar about 400 mason jars
