What a bong is.
There is a percussion term called a bong hit. It's where you hit a gong and a bass drum at the same time. After the second time she used this term, I thought I should explain its other meaning. I could just see her loudly exclaiming she did a great bong hit in class today in front of another teacher.
After I explained it she said "those darn percussionists. You know someone got a good laugh out of that."
