Has anybody used them?

They look so adorable, and I'd love to use them, but I need to do what's cheaper.

A case of 108 disposable diapers is $25, and I see gdiapers sells a, "case," of disposable inserts for $52 and free auto-shipping. So that definitely looks more expensive, but (1) how many inserts come in that case??

(2)And how often do the inserts need to be changed?

(3)Are they less/more absorbent than disposable diapers?

Anybody with experience, please help!

I know the cloth inserts would be the cheapest, but that's not an option for me right now; Answers concerining disposable inserts only please.

can't really help out.  i wanted to use g-diapers with my son but from talking with some "crunchy" moms around me i found that not many stores carried them & the few that did had limited stock so i could run into issues getting the inserts so i opted to go with regular disposable diapers.  plus my son's daycare wasn't too keen on anything other than disposable diapers.

hope you get some answers.

I love gDiapers. I order them from Amazon (I'm a member) and get them for $42ish a month with free shipping. 128 come in the m/l while more come in the small. You change them as often as you would a regular disposable. They are about the same but at night you have to double them up.

I forgot to mention that you can get the outer covers cheaper buy the facebook gDiapers page. They have been used but in good condition.

Thanks so much! This is by far the most helpful thing anyone has said.

There are a couple cloth diapering groups on here, maybe join and get their advice? I can't help personally, I do all disposable.
