My MOm made this YEARS ago.I want to make it but cant remember if you peel the zucchini or not.Has anyone ever made this?

could you share the recipe? It might be a way to get some veggies into dh.
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. distilled white vinegar
1/2 cup butter softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup veg. oil
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups grated zucchini
1 cup chocolate chips
Pre heat oven to 325 degrees.Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.Combine flour,cocoa powder,baking soda and baking powder in a bowl.Mix the milk and vinegar in a large bowl.Let stand for 5 mins to sour the milk.Beat in the butter,sugar,veg oil,eggs and vanilla.Stir the liquid ingredients into the flour mixture until just combined.Fold in the zucchini.Pour batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
Bake in pre heated oven until a toothepick inserted comes out clean.About 45 mins.Cool in pan for 10 mins before removing to cool completely on a wire rack

That's what I was thinking. They would lose their texture if you peeled them.
