my mom uses shea butter on her hands when they are really bad.
i've heard olive oil works well too.

I would get some medicated lotion or vaseline. I had to use baby lotion on mine for about a week straight after we had the baby. My hands got so bad looking that it looked like I had a horrible rash all on the back of my hands.
