Saw my grandson tonight.On the way home we saw an elderly homeless woman.Makes me sick that our society cant take care of the elderly.I am going to start keeping some staples in the car and when I see this I will offer it to them.I wanted to hug her.Poor lady.We cant even treat our elderly with respect

That's heartbreaking. Around here we have a high homeless population and most of them are too stubborn to better themselves while others are too old they can't better themselves. Its so hard to see.

I have a friend who keeps GCs to Subway in her car for homeless folks. They take up less room and can still be used to buy a meal or two.

Before grandmom passed away, it hurt me to see elderly alone with one to help them.
I still see elderly like "that's some ones mom or dad, where's the help?"

Exactly.In the nursing home my Mom was in I saw patients that never seemed to have any visitors.I made sure to say hello and hug them everytime I went to see my Mom.I would bring them donuts or some treat.Its so sad how people treat elderly but especially how some family treat their own
