In a few weeks we are going to have a Party. It is our Adoption Finalization Party!!!
So my husband and I asked/told people if they wanted to supply/bring a side dish/dessert or drink if they wish to help out.
We have in our deep freezer 4 Turkeys. Lets just say we got them for .43¢ a lb because the store ordered too many and had to get rid fo them. So my husband snagged them because of being so cheep.
Well this party is the perfect way to use those Turkeys. But how do you use Turkey besides T-Giving day dinner?? I never have before.
We are gonna have hotdogs for the kiddos, and then the Turkey.
How do i plan a menue arround this??? Turkey sandwitches??? It is gonna be like a Buffet type meal in my home.

In 2011 we decided to adopt.
In 2012 we got to take home our Lady Bug
Now in 2013 we will finalize our adoption.
My husband likes to FRY turkeys. So i think he was planning to doing that.
I am now considering the grinding the turkey to make burgers. I have one of the old Fashioned hand cranked grinders. I have never used it. my parents do.
But yah maybe just fry it, cut it, and get some bread/buns for Sandwiches.

Congratulations on the adoption!
About the turkeys, I would just rotisserie or smoke them, carve them, and serve them like you would if you were having chicken or something.
Congrats!!!! I would do turkey sandwiches.Hope you have a wonderful time!
Do you know someone that has one of those deep fryers for turkeys? You could do that. :) it's really good. I'd probably bake them in the oven and make hoagies out of them. That would be good. Have a bar set up with all the fixings for sandwiches. I'd also check out pinterst site if you are on there and see what other people have done.
