1 mom liked this

passed by a church that was having a memorial for a gentleman who had passed away.  on the sign out front it said "we will miss you _________, 1913-2013".  100 years!!  i can't imagine living that long!  to think of all the things that gentleman has seen & lived through.  i can't even fathom what that would be like.  i don't think i really want to live to see 2075.

I can't imagine it either.  My family is however blessed/cursed with longevity though!

I agree that I would not want to live to see 100. I do think it's amazing to realize everything that man must have seen in his lifetime.

Wow, that is a long time to be alive. My gran just turned 76 and I am baffled by all she has seen and done in her life.

I hope I don't see 100, but my relatives have lived well into their 90's.  My grandma just turned 87 and she still goes to Mexico every year with her sister for almost 3 months.  She has barely slowed down.
