Open. I'd rather go to the kids if they wake up then have them come in my room.

Cracked open. I'm a really light sleeper so when SD gets up I can hear her.

Closed. It has to be very dark for me to sleep and no noise. I can hear the ice maker and my husband snoring from my room and the dining room light I can see (even though it is on the dimmest setting) if my door is open.

All 3 kids are in the room with me so I don't have to worry about getting to them to take care of them.

Right now, open. I'm cosleeping with my dd for the time being in her room which has no windows so it has to stay open or it freaks me out. When I sleep in my & dh's room though the door is closed.
