Smarter Mom: Where to hide those eggs?

Many of us will be filling Easter baskets, dying some eggs and sneaking a few Cadbury eggs here and there this weekend. From the plastic-filled orbs to the hard-boiled kind to the chocolate ones (yum!), it is the time of the egg, no? Now, I remember desperately hunting for hidden eggs all around the house and attending a few fun hunts in my youth. Now, for Kiddo, it's been confined to egg hunts apartment-style, which means I've got to be pretty inventive with where to stash those eggs.  Here are some egg-cellent ideas for your hunt! (One key to remember: before starting to hide them, count the eggs...nothing is worse than discovering a hidden egg in June!)

Great Inside Egg-Hiding Places:
In the soap dish in the bathroom
Among the toothbrushes
In a coat pocket
Inside a mitten
In the coffee pot (obviously with no coffee in it)
In the bookcase
In a shoe
In the dollhouse
On top of a candle stick in the dining room (instead of the candle)
In the egg carton in fridge (that's kind of a funny one, eh?)
Among her stuffed animals

If you are so lucky weather-wise and space-wise to head outdoors, here are a few:
In the hanging plants
Under a small bush
Inside the gardening glove
In the center of a rolled-up hose

Where are your best egg hiding places?

I have a centerpiece of fake eggs, so that's a great place.

We are supposed to have good weather on Sunday. I was checking out some spots this morning. My oak trees are good hiding places.
