Please remind your kids about how to safely cross the street. In the past 2 days we have had 2 kids get hit by cars in our area. One was fatal & the other was minor injuries.

So scary! Bean knows to look both ways and he can't cross without a hand.

Oh gosh! I am always reminding my 5 year old son to look both ways, but luckily we live on a not so busy street.

Oh how sad.

My son is 5 and still needs a reminder EVERY SINGLE TIME. I have told him that he will not be allowed to leave our yard or ride his bike around the block until he consistently demonstrates that he's looking before going across the street. So far, he hasn't figured it out. I just keep actively supervising until he's ready.

Parents need to teach their kids that the car ALWAYS wins. It's bigger, it gets to go first. Watching their kids doesn't hurt either.

((BIG HUGS!!))

I am very sorry to hear that, are those kids still alive?! I do hope so!
My DD only goes in the street when we're walking across the street & yes! I stop her & my self & I tell DD to "look left & look right before we cross! & if we see a car/van/truck we stop & wait until the road is clear."

Safety first!
