Okay, ladies...question of the day: do you give your kids vitamins?
Now, I take vitamins (when I remember). Not a multivitamin everyday, but I pop a B Complex and a calcium with Vitamin D. Mainly because I probably don't eat quite like I should. And now that Kiddo is basically eating like me, or a mini-me, I wonder if she's getting all she should in terms of vitamins, minerals and all that good stuff every day, which makes me think about giving her vitamins.
When Kiddo was little and just switching to solids and we were afraid that we may not be getting her everything she needs, I gave her those liquid vitamins, with the little dropper to be sure she got enough iron and good stuff. It was recommended by the doc, so we did it for a good while but she's outgrown those and we'd be entering into the gummies/chewables, the kind I remember from childhood.
The kicker on this is, if I do give her vitamins, which ones do I choose? We have to be careful because of her nut allergy, so some of the organic ones are off the list.
What about you -- do you give your kids a daily vitamin?
