Glow Stick Bath Night (PIOG)

Mobile Photo

I needed something fun to do with the kids at bath time last night... To keep them interested and relaxed. Bath time needed to be more about entertainment rather than just cleaning. It was raining and we had been stuck inside all afternoon. This was the PERFECT way to keep everyone entertained... And for cheap! Target sells bunches of glow sticks for $1.

Has anyone else tried it yet? I saw this on Pinterest a long time ago and I've been meaning to try it!  I am glad we did.  It was a huge hit!

Looks fun. Maybe if my son was older I would try it.

Water bubbles and a few cups are more than enough to keep my kids happy in the bath lol.

We just did glowsticks yesterday in a dark room with big mirrors (she loved that), but haven't tried the bath yet! I'll put that on the "to do" list :)

Never done a glow stick bath, but occasionally we do "balloon baths". Water balloons! My son loves it.

I've never done that, but one thing we do is cut the end off the stick and "paint" on the driveway at night. It only glows for about 2 minutes, but it's fun for the older kids. You just have to watch out for the glass tubing that you initially break to activate the glow.
