Plan outdoor activities

Set aside one day a weekend to do something active as a family: swimming in the summer, sledding or hiking in the winter, or biking in the spring and fall. Taking along a picnic lunch—and splurging on some healthy snacks after a good workout—will help the day go by without a complaint.

 i make sure the kids get out as much as possible.  they need the fresh air & it helps wear them out! ;o)

We pack a lunch and hit the park almost every time we leave the house now :) loving the summer warmth!

we go swimming, take our dog for a walk, go to the park, etc.  I also plan no technology days except maybe the radio.
