We picked it out together. We was 16 when we got engaged. He didn't know anything about jewelry, so it was best we went together when we did pick it out.

He never really proposed, he just kinda agreed to get married.  LOL!  After the fact, he surprised me with one.  Shortly after we got married my grandmother passed away and I inherited her wedding set which is what I wear.

We went ring shopping early in our relationship and I showed him what I liked so he had an idea. About 5 months later he surprised me with his grandmother's ring when he proposed. He didn't know that he was going to get her ring when we first looked at rings but it worked out perfectly! Her ring was exactly the style I loved and was even better because it has so much sentimental value to it.

Yup.  Both of them.

we got married young and my engagement ring was a tiny fleck.  About 10 years ago I upgraded, lol.

I don't have one. I can't wear rings even so my wedding band is a tattoo.
