I am soooo freaking pissed, upset and stressed right now!

I just got back from court today. If you haven't seen my other posts, 21yo dsd's 6 month old son is in Foster care after her 2 1/2yo son was murdered by a care giver. DSD wants her son to be raised by my ds & dil. They are stable, have 3 boys, steady employment and bought their home 2 years ago.

Not only is the bureaucratic red tape rediculious because we are dealing with 2 different states BUT todays hearing had to be rescheduled because...are you ready for this...dsd's public defender has to step down because their is a conflict of interest. HE IS DSD's bio-mothers lawyer in her CPS case! Her younger kids have been taken away...again!

I am in tears. I can't take much more. Ugh!

Oh, how awful!  I hope it works out.  The legal system can move so slow sometimes . . .

This was his first appearance in front of the judge and the states attorney found the conflict, not him.  Things have been rescheduled, a week out. That is just one more week for us to wait for the judge to order an ICPC (Interstate Compact) to allow our state to get involved with the home check and such.

He didn't realize. He was just assigned to Dsd on Monday. Bio-mom and dsd don't have the same last name and the 2 cases are in 2 different counties.
