VEGETABLES

arugula, beet greens, bell peppers, carrots, cranberries, eggplant garlic, kohlrabi, peas, rhubarb radishes

Have you cooked any of these lately.  They're in season.

I always see these in the clearance section and didn't know what it was! I'll have to try it. How do you eat it?

I don't think those things are in season here now but I could be wrong. Now I see a lot of different types of squash and apples. We have been eating a lot of both.

I made roasted eggplant and chickpea soup earlier this month. The moment I see eggplant in the 99 cent store, I have to make that soup! We have carrots, bell peppers, and peas regularly. I've never tried kohlrabi or rhubarb, though they are two things I've wanted to try. I'm looking forward to getting some squash. I can my own pumpkin, and I love using butternut, acorn, and kabocha squash.
