And then there were four!

Remember our turtles and their "friends" the goldfish? They came with 6 feeders that they didn't eat and that had grown to about 4 inches long. They'd been around for a couple years.
Well last night we were in bed and heard a weird noise and DH went to investigate. Miss Piggy was actually holding on to one of the fish by the gill and was swimming it against the glass. It's tail was already gone. And she had already eaten one of the others before that, because there were only four swimming around! This morning there's no trace of them.
I hate giving her feeder fish, they make me sad. But I never thought she'd go after the big ones!

Yep! And as a turtle gets older, it needs more plant matter and less animal protein. But so far Miss Piggy has refused every fruit and vegetable I have offered her.
