A Gingerbread house? Do you do one every year?
I never have before. DD's kindergarten class made mock ones using Graham crackers and a milk carton that was empty. It was alot of fun. She does not eat anything that is put on other than the hersheys kisses she chose.
We have..We don't every year tho...
once. one of my friends got my daughter a kit a few years ago. she had fun putting it togehter, though she was only 4 at the time so it didn't look all too neat & pretty. i hated the fact though that it all had to be thrown away & couldn't be eaten. well the candy decorations could but the cookies were way too hard to eat.
at the churches holiday celebration the kids make graham cracker houses. again they don't look very pretty but the kids have fun making them & they can eat them in the end.
I used to make one every year. It was a lot of fun...but very time consuming.
Yes, but it has never come out that beautiful...though we have made some cute ones. I like the kits that the craft store Michaels sells and I usually buy extra candies to put on it!
My main tree is going to be gingerbread themed so I am working on a bunch of felt gingerbread ornaments including a felt gingerbread house.
I have made the kits before but not in a very long time.
My son and I are entering a gingerbread competition for next year, and plan to work on our entry, throughout 2014. I can't wait to start on that.
