What do you eat New years day? Do you have a tradition? Do you eat a certain food for Good luck?

no traditions here.  growing up my mom made corned beef & cabbage.  some of my siblings still do that.  one makes cabbage rolls.   but as hubby didn't have any new years meal traditions and he & the kids don't like corned beef or cabbage no need to continue my moms tradition.

We usually have pork, kielbasa, sauerkraut and dumplings . But this year we are celrbrating Christmas number 2 with family today and traveling back home tomorrow so it won't be the traditional New Years food this year :/
