Due to my twin pregnancy, I've been put on light duty until they're born in a couple months.  As soon as my church family heard of this, they started making a sign up list to bring us meals 3 times per week (as well as cleaning, child care, grocery shopping, and laundry...should I need those services).  Well, tonight one of the ladies sent us a dinner of salad, green beans, a meatloaf, potato casserole, animal crackers for the kids, gooey butter cookies, and pudding with fruit salad.  All I have to do is pop the green beans in the microwave and heat the meatloaf & potato casserole in the oven.  They're in the oven now and it smells sooooo good!  I cannot believe how generous people are...even when you're afraid to ask for help.

Have you ever been the recipent of others' kind works?  Have you volunteered for others?

Yes and yes....When I had my girls our church family brought us meals...One of the BEST desserts was a banana cream pie...OH MY GOSH, they are out of this world...You can buy a pie for 14.00 definitly worth it....

That's amazing!  I've always had to take care of myself.  Though it would be nice to have a support system like that!
