Hello Ladies !

I wish I was crafty and could sew right about now because I am drooling over this !

I figured I would share it because it would be an excellent gift for any occassion....like birthdays, graduation, or even New Job ! I know that we talked a little about home made and hand made gifts over the holidays.

Hope you all like it !

:)

Is that for real food to go in? That seems SO unsanitary. :-/

It would be cute for things OTHER than food, but if people are putting food in that...yuck.

Yes but traditionally the Bento Box has always been made from wood not fabric.

Yes but wood has natural sanitizing properties, fabric doesn't.

I am sure you could put wood in it to hold the food...or just multiple tiny containers like most bento boxes.

I plan on getting my son a sturdier / safer one for when he starts school in August.

Something like these:

You can just get little tupperware type containers for lunches, cheaper than going the traditional bento route. Then your son can still get a "cool" lunch bag with characters or whatever he likes on it, and you're not wasting tons of plastic either.

I have some of these for sides and when my youngest wants tuna for lunch (awesome because the ice pack snaps into the lid!)

I have these for Sandwiches (I got mine at Marshall's for $3 each)

My youngest at least COULD eat lunch from school, but she prefers packed, so I have a lot of practice.
