What tips and help can you give to other moms? I've heard of extreme couponing, and couponing in general that really help to save, yet I never save anywhere near what I see lots of other moms saving.
Know your store policy, do they double coupons up to a certain amount or on certain days, do they accept coupons for getting items free
Look into reward programs like CVS and Walgreens where you can get additional savings and sale price items
Shop at stores that allow you to use two coupons on one item. One mfg coupon and one store coupon (Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc)
Email vendors directly and ask for coupons via snail mail
Trade coupons with friends and family
You usually save more by buying items when they're on sale and not when you actually need them. Buying the smallest and using two coupons (one store and one mfg) usually saves me the most
Know which items go on sale and when. Stock up on tape and pencils/pens during back to school, etc
Always buy papers in even numbers and at least 2 papers
Keep all coupons until they are expired. You never know when a great deal will come along
