flax seed

it's a very small seed that can pack a nutritional punch.  i've added it, whole & ground, to my baked goods, hot cereals, granola, soups & sauces for awhile now.  unless you see me add it no one can ever tell it's there so i don't get the "i don't like that stuff" from the kids.  i'm sure they'd be shocked to find out just how many times they've eaten it! ;o)

if you don't already know about flax seed here's a website to check out.

I do the same thing. I even slip it in our smoothies.

I just take it in capsule form.  I should buy the seeds and sprinkle it on for their kids too.

We've been using it for years. I add it to smoothies, in my homemade bread crumbs, in chicken meatballs and turkey meatloaf, and in desserts.

i love that you can add it to pretty much anything & it doesn't change the flavor or texture
