Coupons, don't go into a store unless I specifically need something, pay cash as you go because once the cash is gone, it's gone.

We cut out our satellite and switched cell companies to something cheaper. We stopped going out as much and we only go to the store for what we need.

I pay for everything cash.  (Or debit).   It's a tremendous way to stay on budget.

I coupon and shop sales, always have a list of what I need and only get what's on the list, don't go out that often.  Also, I have a set amount of money that goes into savings each week out of my husband's paycheck that I switch over before I pay any bills.
