Believe it or not, in a church!
In a bar! We actually got married in a hospital chapel.
Officially met was at the Dairy Days parade. Technically we did marry at the Dairy days parade... just not on the exact day or the exact location in downtown Meridian. We were actually married September 4th (more convenient for the family) on 4 acres in the middle of town by the post office.
The day I realized I had a crush on him was sitting outside the cafeteria at school. They had these steps that kids sat on and a hill right by those steps that kids cleverly called, "the hill". I know, so witty! That is when I saw him while eating my lunch. I was smitten! But my "friend" called dibs and I was threatened with ostracizing if I went for him. Teenager rules are so unfair.
Three years after that "pact" I found him at the Dairy Days parade and all bets were off! But the rest is a very long story.
