It's not like she's going to be able to fit it long enough for a special day, so why not? If it gets dirty, ok, no problem.
Would you let your child wear a "dress-up" outfit to preschool?

Yes but dd's school don't allow it. They wear uniform and strict about their non-uniform day.

Dd does this. If she's already worn it for her special occasion she can wear it whenever she wants.
