Do you get something for your MIL for Mother's Day?
No-I have nothing to do with that woman.
That's DH's mother-he can buy for her
No, mine lives in Iraq and they don't celebrate mother's day. Neither does my DH, which is a bummer. I hope he encourages my kiddos to do something for me, but I'm sure he won't. I might just encourage them myself LOL
That's really nice, do the kids pick out the plant?
Quoting kmqw229: Yes, we usually get her a card & hanging plant
I totally understand. I don't buy for mine either. DH said she prefers cash so he gives her some. I don't understand her and if we got her a gift she wouldn't appreciate it.

I'm sure the kids will make something for you in school. :) I think you should totally be appreciated, because you are the glue to the family.

we got her a butterfly wind chime
We would give her a card and her powder she liked
I didn't get anything for anyone for Mother's Day... which means DH is going to get a grip of shit from his mom since she expects a card &/or gift for every fake holiday printed on her calendar.
