Have you ever done this?

We were out shopping the other day, my daughter asked for something and I said now. She had a complete meltdown, throwing a tamtrum in the store.

I'm pretty sure she was overly tired because it's been a long time since she did that (she's 10) and usually she takes the word no without too much of an issue.

Because she was causing such a scene, I took my cart to the customer service desk and let it there and left the store and went home.

Have you ever let a shopping cart sit with stuff in it and left because of the behavior of one of your kids?

Not in a very long time, but yes when they were toddlers. My kids are 9 & 11, if they pulled that crap in a store at their age, they'd be in SO much trouble. I don't care if you're tired you don't act like that in public. Period, ever. Especially not over being told no.

Yes I did this when my son was 4.

I asked customer service to hold it until I got back.

He is 11 now and knows better.

No. I usually buy what I already have and leave if one acts up like that.

yep! not since they were toddlers though.

may be more just being overly tired though mama!  she could be hormonal & going through some changes you aren't aware of yet.

either way i feel for ya!

Oh I didn't even think about that but its possible. She did come home and sleep for a bit and seemed to be in a bit of a better mood. Well until she got her punishment for the poor behavior.
