OMG, I'm turning into my mother!

5 moms liked this

I just said the same words my mom used to say to me.

"If you're not hungry enough to eat an apple you're not hungry"

Do you ever hear yourself turning into YOUR mother?

Oh God Yes! LOL! Whenever my dd complains about someone being annoying I say something like my mom would. Like "Think about their home life maybe they don't have it as good as you have it" or the like. I used to hate it when my mom would try to make me think of what it's like to be in someone  else's shoes cause then I couldn't be mad no matter how justified I was in being mad.

Yes, every once in a while I will say or do something and just stop myself in my tracks thinking "OH MY GOD... I AM MY MOTHER"....Ugh! I notice it happening more as I get older! Oh well, for me, I guess there are worse things in the world! LOL

Occasionally. The one I refuse to say is " I am no going to tell you again" My mom usedto say that over and over until we started making fun of her for it(my stepdad was a part of that, lol)
