My dishwasher officially bit the dust last night and now I have the pleasure of going shopping for a new one...bleh.

When was the last time you went appliance shopping?  What did you buy?

I went a few years ago. 1st the dishwasher went out I have chosen so far not to replace it then the fridge went out and about 2 months later the microwave went out.

I went shopping on line for a washing machine. I found one at Lowes for a reasonable price & the most basic of features. So far have been very lucky with it.

I went in October because we moved into a new home we built and didn't want to take our old appliances.

yuck!

we bought a new washer/dryer when we had a flood. insurance company wouldnt cover anything since we didnt have flood damnage. complete BS as a lot of homes were flooded due to sewer not keeping up with the melting snow.

Almost 2 weeks ago, bought a fridge.

I live in military housing, but the fridge that came in my house was old as hell and looked like it had been dropped down a set of concrete stairs, plus it was SUPER tiny on the inside, it just sucked ass. Housing wouldn't replace it because it technically worked still, so I bought my own and told them to remove their Craigslist shit from my house.
