Child Led vs. Academic Preschool

What would you choose for your LO and why?  My DD is 4.5 and has been in both types of school.  I like each of them for different reasons. I have her enrolled into two preschools for the Fall and thought I had my mind made up, but I keep switching back and forth.

I like traditional schools. Kids need to learn to work within a plan. It is great to let the child lead their own learning, but I don't think it helps in the long run. But, I may change my mind when I really gave to make the choice.

Child led. I believe children learn best through play, and by following their own interests.

My son went to a private preschool. He starts kinder there August 11. I love it. I'm not familiar with child led

I like traditional school, but its preschool so not a whole lot should be expected from little people yet.

I think a balance of both are best.

I'd chose a more child-led preschool.

I'm unfamiliar with child led.  Both my kids have gone to ps for 2 years (my son will be going for his second year this year) and they have done well.  Not sure if the other is better or not!  Good luck though.

I didn't use pre school, and didn't put my kids into formal lessons until they were close to 6.
