A vow renewal or big party to celebrate your 10 year wedding anniversary?

I thought about having a BBQ with fam and friends to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.

No but we wanted to-it just didn't work out that way! We were together for a total of 14 yrs but married for 9 years when he passed away. We had wanted to do the fancy wedding to renew our vows since we had had only a small front yard type wedding at our home with a justice of the peace to marry us. I'm just grateful for what we did have though.

We didn't. We took a 10 day vacation without the kids. First and last time that's happened.

We thought that we might do something for our 20th, but that came and went this July. It was a long, rough summer. So just getting out of town with the kids was enough. Maybe we can get one of the older ones to come and watch the youngest (who will be 14) when we hit 25.
