I know most of us all carve out those infamous pumpkins to make jack o lanterns every year..now the question is do you throw away or make something with those pumpkin seeds.  Would love any recipes or the way you like to make your pumpkin seeds the best.

We usually clean them up, spread them on a cookie pan, spray with cooking oil, and sprinkle on some salt.  Bake at 250 for an hour, stirring every 15 minutes.  Yum!

I roast my pumpkin seeds, hubby loves them. I rinse them off well, lay them out on a baking sheet, add a little olive oil and salt and bake them until they are done. Yummy.

Ingredients

  • Seeds from 1 large pumpkin, rinsed and dried
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Scatter pumpkin seeds onto a sheet pan in a single layer and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and toss to coat. Bake for about 7 minutes, until light brown and crispy.
