I was just wondering where everyone's favorite play place in Hattiesburg is. Im sure we've been to them all.. The Mcdonalds playplaces, Chik-fil-A, the zoo park? I personally like the park in Petal when its not scorching hot. My girls love it too. But for lunch Id go with Chik-fil-A since its cleaner and I really love the soundproof glass so you can see them play but you dont have to be in there with all the noise like McDonalds.

Well thats just my opinion.

We like to go to Paul B. Johnson State Park and ride around in my husband's fishing boat. There's also a lil beach area and camp houses that you can rent. It's so relaxing!

We usually go to Kamper Park, although we have to go early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid the heat. We haven't tried the park in Petal - that's a thought! We tried McDonald's, but Madeleine is really too young and there are so many older, more rambunctious kids. She had a lot of fun recently at Chuck E. Cheese, and we felt safe letting her run around there because they have a kid check. Does anyone have any good ideas for a 15-month-old?

The playground in Dixie is really nice, quiety, and shaded.  I love this one, we always go to it when we go out to my husband's grandfather's house.  We're actually house hunting in that area.  Only wishes not met so far.

There is a small small playground on the rails to trails walking trail at the jackson road station.  It's a slide and pretty much that's it.  I think.

If you need a dog park, Petal has one of those.  Take a right off main street (i think that's it) after the A&B cycles (i think that's the store, it's past the lodge).  It's right there on that road once you go down the slight slope.  It's nice.  We have a white German Shepherd that loves it there.  Wish Oak Grove had one.

I live in Mclaurin right by the ball park, but my boys and I end up in Dixie at that park quite often. Maybe we H'burg mommies could set up a play date there one of these days.
