Hey Ladies,

I haven't been very active lately which is horrible since I created the group! LOL With all the Holidays, travelling, and this pregnancy being a lil rough on me I have been absent from the group. Missed you all very much! How is everyone doing? Catch me up! What is going on in your life?

I am now 12 weeks preggo ( today) and starting to feel better. Carson started walking on his own last night , I am still in shock.......My baby is growing up!  Gary's schedule at work is about to change , which mainly affects his time off...use to have a week off every month, now he will have a week off every 6 weeks. Which isn't that much different except for the fact we have been going to arkansas to see my family every other whole week off ( which was every other month). Now if we continue to go every other week he has off it will put 3 months between visits. I know I shouldn't complain, I just really miss my family/friends....and I love going to visit! But the good side of this is it will allow me more time here to start to bond with people. I thrive on friendships, get togethers, anything social.....and so I need to start making this area HOME in my heart.

So with that being said....I need to start planning more get togethers! Also would love if everyone else planned some as well. Ideas?

Hey Jess!

I've missed you as well too!  As if you can't tell, I'm a very social person too and love to get together anytime!  Sorry to hear the pregnancy has been so rough on you--hopefully the second trimester will get a little easier for you!  And yay for Carson walking!!!! I know it's sad that he's growing up, but what a big thing for him! 

As you know, I'm all for meeting up!  Cold months are harder because we can't do parks, but I still teach strolleraerobics every Tues and Thurs mornings at 9am at the mall (for now until it's warm again), sports plex has open play every Mon from 11-1 (which we normally do, but not today because Kaylie is having poop issues!), and I have playdates here every other week or so.  Let me know if you want dates on those or if you'd like me to add them to the calendar again. 

Anyway, I know what you mean about making this place home in your heart.  I always talk to Jason about "going back home" and he keeps reminding me THIS IS HOME!  I need to start thinking of it that way too, but it is hard! 

Hope to see you all again soon--I'm missing the mommy interaction and I know my kids are missing playmates from MO.  So let's get together and play!  My house is always open!

By the way, I am hosting a playdate at my house on Friday morning.  You are all more than welcome to come--even if your little one is too young to play, you can come and socialize with other mommies!  Let me know if you want to come and I'll send you my address!
