Why I joined this group.

I don't know how I feel about the vaccine. I was still trying to figure out weather or not I was getting it for my children when my son got sick.

Now all 3 of my kids have the flu. My two girls aren't so bad, they have just had the fever but other than that acting okay. My son on the other hand has been in the hospital twice since Halloween. He also has pneumonia on top of the flu, he's only 3. 

I haven't slept for more than a few hours in over 6 days, I haven't gone anywhere but the doctors office and hospital in over 6 days ....... Im scared for my children, and I feel helpless! My husband works from sun up to sun down 6 days a wk, so it's all been on me, every part of it and im tired.

all I want is for my kids to get better, and I want to reach through the computer and slap people when they make fun of this flu. I have actually deleted people off my facebook. It makes me so mad. One of the girls had said " think I might go out and catch the flu " ughhhhhhh! It's not amusing to watch my son sit in a hospital bed and have iv's pumped into his body, his fever so high he can't even move, let alone eat or drink ..... 

maybe someone who's children have had this, and gotten over it can give me some advise because I just feel helpless at this point.

Awwww.  I am so sorry!  I have had 4 cousins with it and they all recovered fine.  They were not sick to the extent of your little one.  I pray for strength for you and  recovery for your little ones.  It is serious and some people are just brushing it off because it has not had an impact on them or there family.  There are some women on here whose children were in and out of the hospital but recovered.  I pray for your little boy and try to stay strong.

I am so sorry you have had to go through this.  How are your kids doing now?  I hope your kids are feeling better.  And I too get So pissed when people laugh over this flu.  It may be mild for some but I almost lost everything from it so it is not funny to me!!!  I will be praying your family has recovered!
