My grandma makes this, my mom makes this, now I make this - it's totally simple, but I've yet to meet a person who doesn't like it. :-)
2 lbs. ground sirloin
2 large can's Campbell's condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste
Form ground sirloin into meatballs. In a large skillet (with a lid), Fry meatballs on all sides until all sides are browned. Cover, and cook about 15 minutes longer so they get good and done on the inside. Remove meatballs from pan; drain of fat.
Add cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, milk, salt, and pepper to pan; stir, mixing well. Add meatballs back into pan. Simmer for 30 minutes.
I usually serve these meatballs with mashed potatoes, but sometimes I toss them and the gravy with some hot, cooked egg noodles. :-)
Makes 6 - 8 servings.
