Ok - this was the cupcake-cake I made for SD's birthday party. It was a hit! Most people didn't even realize it was her cake...LOL.

Ok - I made about 3 dozen cupcakes - used Wilton's "Leaf Green" for the frosting. I went to Dollar tree and bought several (maybe 4) bunches of Gerbera Daisies in Hot Pink and Lime Green...I rinsed off in soap and water - drying upside down. Make sure to buy extra, because you will lose some as some of the blooms will fall apart. (also the pollen will come off - be careful!). I cut the stems down to about an inch, inch and a half, and use the stems to hold the flower onto the cupcake. I used hot pink for the cupcakes and then used lime green to just "rest" in the spaces between cupcakes. I also bought some greenery to wind around the metal cupcake stand.
For the candle "topper" I cut out the center "pollen" and hot glued the bloom around the base of the candle. No one got to eat that cup cake.
Oh my goodness...I'm so using this for the next girls' birthday party we have around here! :-) Beautiful job...this is awesome!
