Making Goals for you...

I use to make weekly goals. I have to admit I have been slacking about this a bit. I should be running them all year.

I found it very useful when you have agoraphobia that if you write down personal goals and then try to reach them you can get farther.

I am still working on getting out at night and just driving.

goals are good, i have a hard time sticking to them..maybe i will start posting and sharing here. even the little things are an accomplishment...i guess since some of my goals dont rank high in this house they get set aside because im busy trying to be super mom n such..new year, good time for a change of heart perhaps.

I like having weekly goals. It feels good when I accomplish one.

1 mom liked this

I have fear about doing  everything but my hardest one is faceing the intrusive thoughts about hurting my children. I have ocd I just don't know how I can face them. I have them about the bath tub. I bathe them every night and force myself to face them. I have them about driving over bridges I drive over bridges. It's maddening how when you concour one another pops up. I do find value in facing them For the longest time I feared driving with my children Now I don't even think about it.  I think it's important to face them becouse if you don't they will defeat you. I 'm sending you out lots of courage to get out there and drive..

I would really like to see everyones goals. :)

I can post my own as well. TO me they seem like small potatoes but they help.

and ... I am going to get out there and drive.. at night.

I'm just waiting for the right time.. :)

I've never thought about hiting the kids.. I have thought about them getting hurt all the time. When their sick I am very anxious. I have seen how sick my daughter got when she was just a baby and that memory has stuck. Now I am always worried something bad will happen when they get sick. Or that something bad at all will happen. I'm a  HUGE worry wart!

Making goals seems to give me anxiety.  I plan on going somewhere or do something I loose a whole nights sleep. and then have a 5 hour attack.

I know what u mean Dannille. I am a major worry wort about everyone. I especially worry about my kids and when they get sick...major anxiety when they get sick.

I was doing great for a while and my daughter got really sick and I havent been the same for over 4mo. Anxiety at the stores, driving long distance and have had this sick to my stomach/full  feeling for a while....

Goals are a great idea:-)
