Many people don't understand what a person with panic attacks goes through

Sometimes walking up the steps my legs will hurt some.  I think it's a bit of arthritis.  This coworker says.  If you would just take the meds for panic attacks.  You could get on the elevator and ride up to work.   I was thinking maybe or maybe not.  Then said well you know.  I'm a bit overweight.  Walking is good for me.  I just will take it slow walking up the steps.  It's only walking 2 floors up.  That if I don't stay mobile my joints will total stop working.  Then said ok take the meds.  When I don't have insurance.  I don't have a means to pay for them.  As naturally it means regular doctor visits to monitor the meds.  That yes they can be habit forming.  I would rather just stay off the elevators.  Than be on meds that I might have a hard time getting off of.  If I need to get off them.  Or would rather not deal with side effects of the meds. While on the job.
