All diabetics have a common fluke parasite, Eurytrema pancreaticum, the pancreatic fluke of cattle, in their own pancreas.
It seems likely that we get it from cattle, repeatedly, by eating their meat or dairy products in a raw state. It is not hard to kill with a zapper but because of its infective stages in our food supply we can immediately be reinfected.

Eurytrema will not settle and multiply in our pancreas without the presence of wood alcohol (methanol). Methanol pollution pervades our food supply -- it is found in processed food including bottled water, artificial sweetener, soda pop, baby formula and powdered drinks of all kinds including health food varieties. I presume wood alcohol is used to wash equipment used in manufacturing. If your child has diabetes, use nothing out of a can, package or bottle except regular milk, and no processed foods.

By killing this parasite and removing wood alcohol from the diet, the need for insulin can be cut in half in three weeks (or sooner!).

Be vigilant with your blood sugar checks. The pancreas with its tiny islets that produce insulin recovers very quickly. Even if 90% of them were destroyed, requiring daily insulin shots, half of them can recover or regenerate so insulin is no longer necessary. The insulin shot itself may be polluted with wood alcohol (this is an especially cruel irony -- the treatment itself is worsening the condition). Test it yourself, using the wood alcohol in automotive fluids (windshield washer) or from a pint, as a test substance. Try different brands of insulin until you find one that is free of methanol.

Artificial sweeteners are polluted with wood alcohol! Instead of helping you cope with your diabetes, they are actually promoting it! Do not use them.

Drugs that stimulate the pancreas to make more insulin may also carry solvent pollution; test them for wood alcohol and switch brands and bottles until you find a pure one. You may not need them much longer, so the extra expense now may soon reward you.

Many persons can detoxify the amount of wood alcohol that pollutes our foods. They do not have a mold, Kojic acid, built up in their bodies as diabetics do. I have found Kojic acid in coffee, and potatoes with gray areas inside. Do not eat discolored potatoes or peels, even if cooked or baked. Being able to detoxify a poisonous substance like wood alcohol should not give us the justification for consuming it. All poisons are bad for us. Do not consume them.

All diabetic persons also carry a virus, HA virus in the pancreas. This virus is grown in the skin as a wart but is spread quite widely in the body such as in the spleen or liver besides pancreas. It is not necessary to kill the virus since it disappears when the pancreatic fluke is gone. The HA virus undoubtedly belongs to the pancreatic fluke. The question can be asked: Does the fluke or its virus cause diabetes? There might even be a bacterium, so far missed in our observations, that is the real perpetrator.

While recovering from diabetes it is very important to check your blood sugar every day. Improvement is so rapid, you may suddenly be over-insulinized by your next shot. Cut down your dose to suit your actual need.

     It is no wonder that when medical studies have tested the effectiveness of some well-known curative nutrients in preventing illness and disease, their results have sometimes been negative because their producers used synthetic rather than naturally occurring nutrients.  The most recent example of researchers reaching a dead end in experiments using synthetics came in research that attempted to identify the role of nutrients in cancer prevention.  A June 2009 article in the journal Clinical Nutrition Insight reviewed a series of studies that used synthetic supplements and concluded that "nutrition researchers have probably oversimplified the complex relationships between diet and cancer."  They have placed too much emphasis on trying to isolate specific bio-active compounds."  In other words, when it comes to disease prevention, synthetics are no substitute for pure foods.  This flawed methodology and fixation on isolating nutrients and making synthetic versions of them is like trying to see a flower but only observing a petal.

     As for the bio-availability ( your body's absorption) of natural versus synthetic vitamins, there is once again no contest.  Your body knows the difference, even though synthetics are designed to try and trick it. ...

     A good case in point is synthetic vitamin E, which has been shown in numerous studies to possess half or as little as one-third of the biologically active impact that natural vitamin E has on the human body.  Cambridge University Professor Isobel Jennings, a pioneer nutritional researcher, made this point in her book Vitamins in Endocrine Metabolism: "Synthetic vitamins, prepared from chemicals instead of nature, are frequently less active biologically than their natural counterparts, thereby reducing any beneficial effect they may have."

     Synthetic vitamin manufacturers want you to believe there is no difference between synthetic and natural products because the synthetics are cheaper to produce and thus carry a much higher profit margin.  It is that simple.  It is the triumph of profits over health, and most people in the industrialized countries of the world have unknowingly bought into that value system.

     It would be wonderful and certainly ideal if we got all of the essential nutrients beneficial to our health directly from our fruits and vegetables.  But the soils most crops are grown in have lost many nutrients in the past few decades as a result of poor farming practices, while even more nutrients are stripped from foods through refining and processing.

     Even with organic food crops, which are always preferable to non-organics because they contain higher levels of phytochemical nutrients and low if any levels of pesticides, there is a loss of nutrients during the time between harvest and consumption.  There is an even greater nutrient loss if the foods are cooked as opposed to eating them raw.  As a result, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), based on a survey of 21,500 people, found that not a single person consumes 100 percent of the USDA's Recommended Daily Allowance of nutrients from the foods they eat. ...

     This is why a case is made for the creation of a Naturally Occurring Standard (NOS), a supplements label that will clearly state if a vitamin or other product comes directly form--and is composed entirely of--compounds derived from the plants themselves.  An NOS symbol will  help eliminate the confusion about what is genuinely natural as opposed to partly or wholly synthetic.

     We are a culture awash with myths, misinformation, and misconceptions about the roles that nutrition and supplementation play or should play in our lives.

     Therapeutic Uses of Vitamins


     As we know, isolated chemically produced supplements such as drugs can work well to prevent or suppress symptoms, but we also know that drugs and vitamins made from synthetics also have toxic side effects.  Because they are not "nature-made" or a natural wholefood matrix, the body does not recognize them as useful nutritional building blocks.  Furthermore, because of their synthetic nature, the body views them as foreign substances, and as such launches an immune response against them.  This immune response does not necessarily prevent the synthetic vitamin from alleviating symptoms and giving the impression that healing has occurred.  In fact, the reverse is true: When the body is flooded with synthetic substances, it not only loses its receptivity to them, but it also must manage the stress caused by the immune response.  This is why there is little success in using synthetic vitamins as part of a long-term treatment program.

*     The elimination of symptoms is rarely an indicator of health.  It is common for people to experience recurrences in disease even after successfully addressing the symptoms.  Why?  Because the root cause of the disease or illness has gone untreated.  Health is only possible when the deficiencies that caused the symptoms, and therefore the disease, are addressed.   *

     For two decades, we at the Hippocrates Health Institute have conducted an ongoing experiment that is unique in the annals of nutritional science:  We have examined through a high-powered microscope the blood of more than 11,000 of our guests who were users of synthetic supplements when they arrived at our institute.  We measured the nutrient levels in their bodies before they began our three-week residency program, and after.  Specifically, we were interested in the differential between red and white blood cell counts, which are an indication of cell strength (with an increased count) and malabsorption or cell deficiency in the case of decreased counts.

     What we discovered has remained constant throughout those two decades:  There was little to no absorption and retention of synthetic vitamin nutrients in the more than 11,000 users of pharmaceutical-grade supplements whose blood we drew and tested.  Furthermore, we studied leukocytes, with Spectra-cell technology, to determine which nutrients were being absorbed.  The cells in individuals using chemical supplements consistently showed a significant deficiency of nutrients at the beginning of our program compared to the end of the program, highlighting the virtual uselessness of laboratory-created supplements. ...

     We also noticed that people most saturated with synthetic supplement chemicals exhibited many of the symptoms of drug addiction.  I have seen this disturbing phenomenon dozens of times.  As they are coming off the synthetics, often the kind that are administered intravenously, they shake and experience tremors.  Their eyes roll back in their heads and they sweat profusely.  It is a frightening sight.  Most of these people were not otherwise ill, but the synthetic supplements were clearly toxic to them.

     What we have seen firsthand in a clinical setting has been confirmed by laboratory research that compared natural and synthetic biological effects on the human body.  Not only that, but despite what many mainstream chemists may claim---that there is no difference between molecules of synthetic nutrients and the natural nutrients they were designed to mimic---persuasive evidence has accumulated that important differences do exist.  These differences  in turn affect our absorption of nutrients, and our overall level of health.

*    You may not want to believe it, but here is the ugly truth about most of the vitamin C sold in the world today:  Rather than bolstering you body's defenses against the common cold and other maladies, once in your body most vitamin C sold today becomes tantamount to just another toxin that your organs and immune system must flush out of your system.   *

     Nutritionist Dr. Laura Mason-Scarborough, writing for the Holistic Pediatric Association Website, summarized the differences between natural and synthetic vitamin C this way:  "What do you get if you purchase a synthesized bottle of vitamin C?  You are buying ascorbic acid, a small part of vitamin C, manufactured from refined corn sugar.  Ascorbic acid does have strong effects on the body but is more of a drug than a nutrient."

     So what happens to those synthetic vitamins that your body treats as toxins and cannot absorb?  The evidence for how much money is being wasted on synthetics that fail the bioavailability test may be found in the Porta Potty business---those portable toilets that have become a fixture on construction sites and at outdoor concerts and other public gathering.  Dr. Joel Wallach in his book Rare Earths, Forbidden Cures, revealed how a friend of his in the Porta Potty business in Grand Rapids, Michigan, would find "literally thousands of multiple vitamin/mineral tablets in the bottom screens when the Porta Potty is pressure-cleaned after a public event."

     "How do you know they are multiple vitamin/mineral tablets?"  Dr. Wallach asked his friend.  "Because the names are still on the coating.  One-A-Day, Centrum, etc.," the man replied. 

     So can a synthesized isolated vitamin fraction made in the laboratory be called a real vitamin ?  Can it provide you with the nourishment that naturally occurring, whole-food supplements can?  The answer is a resounding NO!
